It’s been awhile right? Sorry for my absence but I have been busy.
Not even exaggerating but the past semester I have been going to work by 8 and going straight to school at night and I would get home by 11 and my day’s not even over because I would do homework.
School has ended for the semester but I’m still busy as ever. I have been working 12-13 hour days even getting about 7 hours overtime for just 3 days.
How do I deal with my stress?
Until I find a better solution for my stress here is 2 things that I want so much right now.
Both Vince, both have leather (obsessed with leather right now) and both delicious.
Kind of bad right?
Anywho I also have had other fun times since I finished the semester:
Drinking coffee while designing.
Went to see the amazing Jean Paul Gaultier exhibition (plus he came to our school!!).
Drawing and sketching as much as I can when I have time.
Btw, did I mention how much I am obsessed with Instagram?
I spent the day today just taking picture of Golden Gate Park and really trying to find inspiration for my next design project.
Surprisingly I found a lot of inspiration just in nature itself!
First, Richard and I started our day off with this:
It was served at a bar and that place totally grossed me out. It just had that bar smell and I couldn’t enjoy my blue bottle and breakfast burrito.
I also had a bunch of pictures of nature and some motifs but I decided not to bore you all today and upload them all.
Except for this one!
So excited! I wasn’t at school when he came to visit since I had to work but we get to check out his exhibition during class soon!
My outfit of the day:
Sweater, top, pants; THEORY, suede booties; STEVE MADDEN, necklace; GORJANA.
Booties are definitely not recommended when trekking through Golden Gate Park.
I’m still here!
Busy as ever but midterms are finally coming to a close and I will have more time updating (hopefully).
This weekend, Richard and I took a drive to Napa to check out two wedding venues.
Goodbye San Francisco!
We left a bit early and since there wasn’t any traffic we got there in about 45 minutes.
So, we had breakfast at one of the famous diners, Boon Fly Cafe.
Coffee to start. Seriously, the best coffee is in San Francisco and I’ve had coffee in Seattle, New York, Portland and Reno.
The coffee in Napa is ehhh.
The cute mini jam jars and butter! I purposely didn’t eat the jam so I can bring them home.
Their famous donuts. Pretty awesome when fresh. Very fluffy, dense and cinnamon sugary. Gross as leftovers because they got all soggy and stale.
My vegetarian omelet with crimini mushrooms, spinach, bell peppers and cheese. A side of delicious fresh hash browns.
I also had a side of chicken apple breakfast sausages. What a great option because Richard and I gave up beef and pork so this made us very happy because we both missed breakfast meats.
How was your weekend lovelies?
How is everyone this Sunday?
Well, today is my birthday and I’m probably just going to relax and treat it like any other Sunday.
I actually celebrated last night with a few friends and family at Umami restaurant.
I would tell you what these dishes are but to be honest, I don’t remember.
I know I’m spoiling myself but it’s a good year for me! Not only am I excelling in school and work, but I’m at my most healthiest (giving up beef and pork) and it’s the year of the dragon!
It’s my year bitches and I’m going to live it up!
…by going to school and work, eating brunch with Richard on the weekends and watching junk on tv.
Yes, I live a crazzzzzzyy life.
On a sidenote, I have a rule I set for myself.
If I want to buy something on impulse I give myself 24 hours (sometimes a few days) and if I can’t stop thinking about it then I will get it.
So, I’ve been thinking about this:
No, not the dress, the necklace.
You can wear it in many different ways:
Tied up like the model above or simply around your neck like this:
As you all know, I always buy myself a birthday gift.
My 22nd birthday I treated myself to a Marc by Marc Jacobs silver watch and after two years and a year into my fashion design I bought myself this:
Yards and yards of fabric.
But, not just any fabric.
If I could have gotten Vince fabric I probably would’ve peed my pants.
The big 24 is coming in two weeks and I am actually pretty excited. It’s not the greatest thing getting older but I am ver grateful to have lived another year and I don’t think people see it like that.
They just see fine wrinkles or how high a number is.
What do I see?
My 23rd year was the year Richard and I got back together and got engaged, I finally started my fashion design dream, I got one of the best jobs I’ve ever had and I ran my first 10k.
So it’s definitely my mission to make my 24th year another great year because I will have double the dragon power (haha).
Richard asked me an important question this past weekend and I had to think carefully about my answer.
His questions was, “What do you want for your birthday?”
My first category of what I want are actually cocktail rings.

I wouldn’t wear more than 2 on each hand but there is nothing more classy than one huge ring on a dainty little manicured finger.
My first choice! I love the pastel color and the simple shape.

Described as sugary grey crystals. I am definitely getting a sweet tooth for this!

You know I love my pearls.
