The Yellow Submarine

August 22, 2011

First off, I finally got my camera back! Yay! I didn’t realize how spoiled I was to have such great photos until I didn’t have my camera for a week.

Second off, Kim Kardashian’s wedding?! I die. Mine will probably never amount to hers but she looked gorgeous and I couldn’t help but wonder if I can pull off a diamond (rhinestones in my case) headband?

Anyways, Richard and I were craving some sandwiches and I craved submarine sandwiches in particular.

I used to come here all the time when I was younger and always ordered the same thing:

A center hot pastrami with jalapeno chips.

This baby is toasted with the mayo, pastrami and cheese so the bread comes out toasted and chewy, the cheese is ooey gooey and the pastrami so hot that it burns your mouth.

Well it’s not that hot, it’s more lukewarm.

Submarine actually uses their own italian dressing on all their sandwiches and it MAKES the sandwich. Richard still prefers Little Luccas over Submarine but I love both so much!

      thanks lily!

however, i love mayo and hate mustard LOL.

i think it’s always a battle between mustard and mayo.
