Ramen Craving

Oh man, updating my blog when I have school and work has become difficult. I don’t know how you girlies do it!

Anyways, I have been feeling off since last week. I don’t know why but I get kind of nauseous and once I take a nap I feel so much better. I feel like I might have a brain tumor.

But, I am a hypochondriac.

I’ve also been craving ramen. I think it’s because it’s such a comfort food for me and when I don’t feel good I just want to do anything to make myself better.

On Friday, Richard and I had a date night dinner at Ramen Club in Burlingame. I particularly like this establishment because you get a mini ramen with a bento box.

We got a cold ramen salad with miso dressing. It wasn’t one of my favorites and it reminded me of neng myun but I think it’s because of all the cucumbers.

My saba shioyaki aka grilled mackerel. It was fishy and too bony. I originally wanted tonkatsu but my mom made it for dinner recently so I wanted a variety. I also got seaweed salad instead of goma-ae.

There was also an unpictured spicy tuna roll with avocado. It was also extra spicy because they squeezed sriracha on top.

Mmm.
